After work session at Hove, after a tour round sussex looking for cross
shore conditions, Checked L*ncing, basically flat, even though the tide was
an hour after high, checked Shoreham - looked tempting with a lot of side
shore wind and a bit of a shorebreak wave starting to give room for turns
on the inside, but figured it must be bigger further east so drove on.
So had a good session from 7pm til 9pm, on 5m and trad wave board. It was
pretty good, with lumps everywhere and bigger sets appearing outside, then
cleaner ones inside sometimes. Wind was up and down, but luckily I had
rigged bigger than I should have to start with. Superglue rip current was
bad at 8pm but not unbearable. Wave size started at chest high dwindling
to knee/thigh by the end. Marvellous.
